Flickbook
I have this fancy new camera, but seem to have slipped into lo-tech. I think it started with the rain, the grey days, wet beads running down the telephone lines outside my window. I associate rain with the old black and white day time classics I used to watch as a child.
I also have a beat up stills camera, one with a few hairs, smudges and some dust stuck behind the lens that I can’t get out. I made a stop start animation with it. I shot it in good light and it takes quite high res snaps, but I just couldn’t help playing with the saturation settings etc until I killed it and it became kind of film noir. So I thought I’d bury it in a flickbook, flicking through it reminds me of one I shot earlier shutter flutter.
Small zeotrope next?
